What does *gratuity free* mean?
We are proud to operate as a gratuity-free salon, meaning tips and gratuities are not accepted after your service. The cost of your experience is already fully included in the pricing.

I'm not sure what to book
We can help! The best place to start is by filling out our Appointment Request Form. This "virtual receptionist" lets us vibe with your needs. We'll text you booking recommendations based on your submission.
Where are you located? What about parking?

Metered parking is available on Chicago Avenue. Free parking is available on nearby side streets. We recommend using the Park Chicago App for easy access to extend meter time.
Can I call to book an appointment?
We are a private space and strictly by appointment only. All appointments must be booked online.

Do I need to book a consultation?
Haircut Appointments → a consultation is added when New Client Haircut appointments are booked
Hair Color → consultation is recommended (everyone’s hair and hair goals are different, a consultation is the best way to figure out a game plan and provide accurate pricing estimates).
Hair Extensions → consultation is required
What methods of payment are accepted?
A credit card is required to book appointments. However, after service completion, payments can be made with cash, card, or tap.
For cash payments, please bring exact change as we do not keep a cash register on site.
If you’d like to book without a credit card, you can purchase a gift card for the estimated cost of your service and we can book appointments from there. Please contact us via text for guidance.
Are there services ya'll don't do?
We do not currently offer cold styling (braiding or wig installation), relaxers, perms, keratin, or smoothing treatments.
Do ya'll do *kids haircuts*?
Absolutely! Our inclusive gratuity free pricing structure isn’t based on age or gender.
If you're thinking, "Holy fuck thats expensive for a kids haircut!"
Yes, it is. Cutting a moving target requires a gentle touch, empathy, and patience.
Do ya'll sell any hair products?
We carry K18, Olaplex, INSIGHT Professional, Hairstory, Reverie, Afterworld Organics, Sparrow 4 Everyone and Cult + King products for sale inside of our salon.
We also sell select products online through various affiliate program which allow us to earn a small commission.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
✨ Haircut Appointments → Please arrive with clean, dry hair styled how you usually wear it, using minimal products. This helps us see your hair in its natural glory and plan the perfect haircut for you.
✨Hair Color Appointments → Please arrive to your session with clean, dry hair styled how you usually wear it, using minimal products.
For sessions applying bleach or lightener on or near the scalp, please avoid washing your hair for at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to maintain your scalp’s natural barrier.
✨ Makeup Appointments → Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face (no makeup). Exfoliate gently the night before if you can, but avoid anything harsh right before your appointment. Bring along any lip colors or products you love if you’d like us to work them into the look. If you have sensitivities, let us know in advance so we can plan products accordingly.
✨ Event Styling Appointments → Please arrive with clean, dry hair styled how you usually wear it, using minimal products. This helps us see your hair in its natural glory and plan the perfect hair style for you.
What kind of hair extensions do you offer?
Hand-Tied, Machine Weft, Genius Weft, K-tips, I-Tips, Tape-In, Clip-In, or Halo extensions, our experts are here to collaborate with you and cultivate ideas to achieve the hair of your dreams.
A hair extension consultation is required so we can color match, discuss your goals, as well as go over maintenance and pricing.
Hair extensions generally start at around $700+
We do no offer installation of hair extensions purchased outside of WFLYH.
Does your hair color line contain PPD?
None of the color lines we carry contain PPD. With that said, if you've ever had an allergic reactions or sensitivity to hair color in the past, a patch test is a must before using any color… even if it's labeled PPD-free.
