Whether you’re after something bold or more laid-back, Nelson will craft a cut or color that grows out beautifully and fits seamlessly into your routine. She’s all about making sure you leave the salon with not just great hair, but the know-how to keep it looking fresh at home.

When she’s not behind the chair, you’ll find Nelson painting, making jewelry, rolling dice in a D&D campaign, or hanging out with her two ridiculously cute dogs, Frank and Beans. 💕

  • I loved my cut and style by Nelson! I have wavy/curly hair and an unmanageable texture. I don't know how to care for it so I just let it frizz up. At my usual salon after a cut my hair is just blown out, so I always love it and after I wash I can not recreate that blow out at home. I tend to hate the cut and fry my hair trying to make it behave. I asked for a shag cut with tons of volume because I have thin hair. I was worried that it would go into mullet territory because of the thinning. Nelson however, assessed my texture and gave me the craziest curls I've ever seen on my head!! I appreciated how she actually used the right products and listened to my concern about eliminating heat instead of just taking a round brush and blowing it out like all prior salons have done to me. I now know the steps to take to keep my hair exactly the way I want it and she recommended a product that feels really nice in my hair. I'm hoping to keep coming back as I try to grow out my hair, while keeping my cute rock star shag intact.

  • Nelson has been doing my hair for a couple of years now. There's no one I trust more with my hair than her, and I always recommend her to anyone who is looking to rock some vibrant colors. If you have dark hair color, then you know colorful hair is a process that takes several hours. The work and the materials used are all super high quality. I'll definitely be coming back in a couple of months when it is time for a full retouch.
